The idea for it all actually came from a good colleague who came back from maternity leave and told Thomas that she missed a place where she could tell the story of her new born baby – and where she in an easy way could gather both words and images, and other types information. “A kind of baby book – just online,” she said. It was the starting point for the development of the Life Of, and we want to thank her for her great help in the creation of the site. It is free to register as a user and to create profiles, and the first two months of use of the Life of is also free. After two month the monthly cost will be DKK 29.00. In this way we ensure an advertising-free and undisturbed environment.
If you take down your life of profile you can for a small administration fee, obtain a CD Rom with your information.
You decide for yourself who you want to share your Life of story with. For us it has been important to allow you to protect the privacy and confidentiality of your information. Therefore you can chose to create yourself a list of email addresses of family and friends that you want to share with. But of course you can also choose to make it publicly available.
